Infotainment Platform

A leading global automotive manufacturer are developing a completely new infotainment solution developed in-house in collaboration with Google, Aptiv, Qualcomm and QNX.

The customer identified a need to increase the feature development capacity with an external team.

Sigma delivers a team working with personalization of the car to be able to adapt the user experience and store preferences for different driver profiles. The team works both with native Android C++ development and Java Application development. The work includes account linking between car and cloud, and also how the fleet service experience can be enhanced combining the cloud-based profiles and ergonomics settings.

The team is distributed between Gothenburg and Krakow and has end-to-end responsibility for:

– Software development of components, menus and UI for; ergonomics coordinator, profile synchronization and privacy settings

– Adapting the components to new/other projects and platforms

– Bring-up of components on new Android versions

– Verifying and testing of developed SW components

– Continuous maintenance and improvements of the components
