ABOUT CLUE

Clue by Sigma is our in-house concept where we carry out complete product development projects in the field of electronics and software.

We develop both consumer and industrial products and can take on both small and large assignments. We can do individual development projects or become your development department where we work long-term together in one or more phases – everything from concept to industrialization.

Through our breadth in electronics development and the Sigma Group’s collective expertise in mechanics, IT and production technology, we have a well-built infrastructure for developing complete products. Whether it’s a small feasibility study or a large, complex development project, we have a solution.

We also have access to one of Europe’s most advanced in-house prototype and test labs.

This means unique advantages as a great deal of expertise, a huge instrument park and experience from many product development projects are always available as a back-office. We also collaborate with partners who can take overall responsibility for production and final assembly on both a large and small scale.

Refcase

The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is responsible for a safe and sustainable environment at sea. They are constantly innovating on how to do their missions better by engineering their own vessels and systems. Clue is part of their next generation of electrified rescue boats, specifically the hydrofoiling wing that will enable an energy efficient propulsion.
Clue is building the electronics and software for a complete automated growing kit for indoor gardening. The system keeps track of water, nutrition value and light cycles. All can be done via an app.
A company transforming warehouses into diverse food production facilities using vertical farming uses a lot of technology. Clue is part of creating the perfect combination of sensors and control loops to get the most out of these systems and build a future where food is grown close to the consumer.
Clue is using Lumen Radios ultra-reliable device to device connectivity platform to replace cables and wires in a smart sensor system. This is done using a low power, smart-mesh, low power radio network.
We see a growing interest in bringing production closer to home due to logistical and environmental factors. Clue has researched the feasibility of moving production of a consumer product to Sweden. This involves redesign to suit a highly automated production line, component supplementation and industry relations.
Clue is developing a remotely controlled, semi autonomous, steer by wire system for an electric jet board. The platform will operate in extreme environments below and above the surface.
We are enabling the electrification of the marine industry by building sub-systems for a provider of electrified propulsion for boats. With the high power available there are inevitable heat losses to mange, the system we developed is responsible for keeping the motors cool and healthy.
The NoviOcean Wave Energy Converter relies on several unique and patented innovations enabeling sustainable electricity production from ocean waves. We are supporting NoviOcean in their wide range of engineering fields, from structural design to UX frontend, ensuring their full scale prototype can launch on time.
